Supporting Families in The Moncton Hospital’s Pediatric Unit
The Pediatric Comfort Fund at The Moncton Hospital provides crucial support to families with children under 18 years old who are facing chronic or acute illnesses. Money raised for this fund help offer comfort and relief to families during some of the most challenging times.

OPENING SOON! New Obstetrics and Newborn Care Unit
Thanks to our donors and the provincial government, a new Obstetrics and Newborn Care Unit will be opening in April.
This facility will include a Neonatal ICU; Labour & Birth and Obstetrics combined care (antepartum/postpartum care) and all clinics associated with these areas of care; Maternal Fetal Medicine; Breastfeeding; and, Postpartum Discharge clinics.
Patients, clients, staff and physicians will all benefit from this exceptional space and its state-of-the-art technology.
Revolutionizing Uterine Care
The Moncton Hospital now offers game-changing treatment for patients suffering from ongoing pain due to fibroids thanks to new state-of-the-art technology purchased by the Friends Foundation – the first in Atlantic Canada.
The recently acquired Acessa® Laparoscopic Radiofrequency Ablation system will help treat and relieve debilitating symptoms that can include heavy menstrual bleeding, pain, urinary problems, pelvic pressure, pressure on the bladder, anemia, and bloating – a huge win for women’s health at The Moncton Hospital.
